1. Creator basics
Streamers set the tone for their community. Keep your stream title, category, tags, overlays, and chat suitable for the content you are broadcasting.
- Use an accurate title and category.
- Do not mislead viewers with fake giveaways, fake drops, fake charity claims, or false rewards.
- Keep your stream key private.
- Respect staff decisions and platform moderation.
2. Allowed content
Creators may stream gaming, chatting, music they have rights to use, creative work, events, tutorials, podcasts, and community shows, as long as they follow the platform rules.
3. Content not allowed
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, or targeted abuse.
- Sexual exploitation, child safety violations, or predatory behaviour.
- Graphic real-world violence, animal cruelty, or content encouraging harm.
- Scams, phishing, malware, account selling, or fake monetisation schemes.
- Doxxing, swatting, stalking, or exposing private information.
- Illegal activity or instructions for illegal activity.
- Copyrighted content you do not have permission to stream.
4. Mature content
If your stream includes strong language, horror, gambling-style discussion, adult themes, intense violence in games, or other sensitive topics, mark it as mature where the platform provides that option.
Mature marking does not allow illegal, exploitative, or banned content.
5. Chat moderation
Streamers should moderate their chat and avoid encouraging raids, harassment, spam, or abuse.
- Remove harmful messages quickly.
- Do not encourage your viewers to attack other creators or communities.
- Use moderators for busy streams.
- Report serious safety issues to staff.
6. Copyright and music
Only stream content you own, created, licensed, or have permission to use. This includes background music, videos, sports broadcasts, TV shows, and clips.
VODs or streams may be removed if copyright complaints are received.
7. Stream quality guidance
- Recommended OBS server:
rtmp://your-domain/live - Use your dashboard stream key only.
- Use stable bitrate settings for your upload speed.
- Avoid restarting OBS repeatedly unless troubleshooting.
- Use overlays that do not cover important stream content.
8. Staff, Partner, and Affiliate badges
Badges are platform roles and may be removed if misused. Do not claim to be staff, partner, or affiliate unless the platform has granted that status.
9. Enforcement
Breaking these guidelines may lead to warnings, content removal, loss of discovery, stream takedown, badge removal, account restrictions, or bans.
