Altis Constabulary — SOP & Rules

Core SOP

• Follow chain of command; radio discipline at all times.
• Use reasonable force and always value life.
• Traffic stops: introduce, reason, ID, outcome. Body-cam encouraged.
• Escalation of force: Presence → Verbal → Less-lethal → Lethal (last).
• Pursuits: PIT/SPIKES only above permitted speeds and with approval.
• Raids/warrants require probable cause and supervisor sign-off.

Ranks & Permissions

Rank	Code	Notes
Recruit	0	Ride-along only, supervised.
Constable	1–2	Patrol, basic traffic stops.
Senior Constable	3–4	Leads small scenes, supervises recruits.
Sergeant	5	Approves pursuits/raids, shift lead.
Inspector+	6–7	High-risk ops, final authority.

Loadouts

Issue gear scales with rank and assignment. Carbines only for active threat or authorized operations. Beanbags/tasers preferred for compliance.
